Blossom
came to our place as a nine year old veteran, and her previous owner
doubted her having any more kids. She did have one more, a little
wether named Bramble, who died afterwards, but at least we had Blossom
in milk for another one and a bit years. Blossom had a very nice udder
with great capacity, soft, easy-flow teats and good shape. We
tried to get her in kid in early 2009, for her first registered kids,
but she appeared to no longer be
able to have kids - turning 12 last October made her pretty
old. Blossom had very good lines, but unfortunately, the only daughter
we have from her is 1/4 Boer, and Blossom can't have any more kids.
Blossom was a lovely old girl, whose favourite hobby was rubbing her head
on people.
Blossom died 6-6-10, two months before her twin great grand-daughters were born. Blossom got third place veteran doe in the 2009 Orbost Show.
