| Zhivargo is a handsome, "Little man", not huge, although quite big now, and mature-looking, with a nice, strong head, well-propertioned body, and great milking genetics, especially from his dam. He has very neat conformation, and good shoulders, as well as very strong legs and hooves. We are using him over all our registered Toggenburg does at the moment, but we will need a new buck for his doe kids. Vargo is a very vigorous, strong and stout boy, a bit smaller than Tauphan was at his age, but still a reasonable height and very solid. He has also become a lot more placid in the last few months, and has Spooky the ram as his devoted follower. Where ever Spooky is, there Vargo is also! (and the other way around too) |

1-8-09 Vargo is
now nearly 11 months old, and I don't have photos of him since he was
four months old! I will try to take some soon. Vargo's first kids (or
Eli's first) are due in a little over two weeks. I am really wondering
who the sire is. :) This is a head-shot of him at three months old,
when we had only had him for a little while and he was still very
nervous and jumpy. He is now nearly as tame as all the kids that were
born here. (which means thoroughly people addicted) 25-9-09 Vargo's first kid, a gorgeous little buck kid who looks almost identical to his dad, has been born. Kudumba Mountain Peek is a really really cute little guy, with a short face, tiny, pointy ears, short fat toggles, and short fat everything else, especially his legs. His white facial lines appear to be way better than his dad's, and his shoulders are way better than his mum's. |

17-11-09 Vargo is going to be bred to almost all does next season,
unless we get another buck kid, maybe Murrungowar Mozart or Murrungowar
Merrick (or unless some other buck makes an escape...) Vargo is very well built, and has grown a lot. He is nice and
solid too. 3-4-10 I clipped Vargo a few weeks ago, but haven't taken more recent pics of him so have put up ones from a month or so ago. 5-5-10 We've now gotten 8 does in kid to Vargo, although we only have five of the does now, so we should have a pretty large group of his kids this year! We are going to get Bonnie and Ginger in kid to him soon too. 24-9-10 So far seven does have kidded to Vargo, with one more due today. from six does there have been six bucks and six does, and I don't know what the last doe has kidded with. We have at least another four, possibly six more does due to kid. His first two kids to be sold, Embargo and Crystl Droplet, left for Melbourne today. His first purebred, registrable as purebred kids should be born today. 8-11-10 We have sold two of the does who were due to kid to Vargo, and have four left that may kid to him. (one definitely, the others all possibilities) Right is Vargo as a tiny kid. I have added new photos of him recently. His first purebred doe and buck kid (herdbook registrable) have been born, both registered and the buck sold - Waygara Sharifs Squishyboy. |
