This is Waygara Comet, our only (now sold) Australian Brown doe. She is now the lovely chocolate colour that was only on her face, but when we got her she was in winter coat and was white!

Com toddling over  Comet is a very sweet doe, affectionate and very friendly, albiet a little nervous, especially when we got her. She is in winter coat currently, and kidded only a few weeks before we got her, so was just a little thin. She is fattening up now though. She has very good legs, hooves and shoulders, her back is just a little short, but other than that she has very nice conformation. Her udder has bad front, side and back attachment, is just a little undefined, and a little divided. She has a good sized udder, although only making a little at the moment. She also has great let down, and very easy flow. We will probably be breeding her to Tauphan next year and keeping a Togg coloured doe kid, and may be selling her in kid to Vargo or Tauphan the next year. She is such a sweet doe though that we may keep her and breed her to Tauphan for a few years.

Update 1-5-10: Comet has been sold, in exchange for Jintabell, and will be getting in kid to Rousty some time in the next few weeks.

26-6-10 Comet is in now hopefully in kid to Rousty, and due sometime in September/October.

10-11-10 Comet kidded with twin bucks! Two very beautiful boys though, chocolate with floppy ears. I also found her birthdate and that some friends of ours own two daughters of hers!

The all-brown photos are of her after she had been sold.

Below is Comet in her winter coat when we got her, although her new coat was coming in and can be seen on the inside of her legs.
